Traxfeed is an innovative web app that aggregates the latest music from Spotify, Soundcloud & YouTube into a real-time news feed.

The app is designed to remove the friction of following artists’ updates across multiple platforms by consolidating them into one feed and by giving users complete control over the artists, record labels, blogs & music services they choose to follow.

The ultimate goal of Traxfeed is to become people’s preferred source for music updates and to give fans greater access to their favorite artists’ streaming libraries.

I began working on Traxfeed in August 2015. It was my first "official" project as a product designer. Having never made an app before, I grossly underestimated the importance of finding an experienced developer. A few developers have tried and have ultimately failed to deliver an effective back-end solution. Despite the obstacles, I remain optimistic that Traxfeed can get the love it deserves from a skilled developer, and together we can ship an awesome product to music lovers all over the world.

A semi-functioning version of Traxfeed is live at Traxfeed.com. If you already follow some artists on Facebook, it will pull some of their tracks into your news feed. I have access to all of this code + API documentation + a wealth of other resources from two different developers that I am happy to potentially provide to a partner.
